How do you set the engagement points on the remote and control panel? My slewing is off. I have to lean into the stick to far to make the boom move

Re: Engagement points
the schwing should have a training plug inside the lid of the CPC Panel. On our pumps they are velcrowed to the outside panel. It is a serial plug, with a loom that loops back into itself.

Re: Engagement points
IT HAS A MIN SETTING FOR EACH SECTION...THAT IS YOUR ENGAGEMENT POINT. THE WAY I DIAL A BOOM IN IS ZERO EVERYTHING OUT THEN BUILD UP SLOWLY FOR MIN AND MAX SETTINGS. NEVER FORGET TO SAVE IT ON EACH SECTION OR IT WILL NOT TAKE. SOUNDS LIKE U JUST NEED TO SPEED UP YOUR SLEWING MIN. SETTINGS

Re: Engagement points
Nick, im not sure how you adjust the boom on the schwings. There are like 4 or 5 buttons on there not including the save button. If you still have Phils number, you can try to call and ask him, or call Schwing Service department and they can walk you through it.

Re: Engagement points
older schwings you can still "learn" yourself with the remote controle. the newer ones you need a "learning key". this is a small computer-chip you need to hook up with the computer of the pump. this device doesn't get sold to firms, only to schwing-licenced maintenance-firms. so i hear from the service point where i go.
